Caroline Schwerin of Flat Bush, Auckland has been recruited as a Project Manager for a new farm project, Emmaus Farm, which trains young farm cadets in basic agriculture, composting and farm forestry (Eaglewood and Black Palm). Caroline will go up for 2 months, April -June, with a view to commiting to a 2 year assisgnment.

 Peter and Marie Farrell, of Pukekohe, with their two young children Evita (3) and Lisette (1), went to assist with development of St Anne's RTC in the Shortland Is, Western Province from February -Arpil 2009. The centre now have a new laptop and printer installed and are gradually increasing their integration of it into centre managment. A new dormitory is due to be completed in July 2009, and hopefully by the end of the year a new ablution block will also be completed.

Tim Gisler of Te Awamutu is assisting with developing concept plans for a new House of Prayer for the Don Bosco Centre at Kola Ridge, Honiara.

Mike James of Northcote, Auckland is assisting staff at the Marist Training Centre in Tutu, Taveuni, Fiji with managemnt of a major development project to upgrade their mini hydro generator to 70KVA. Mike visited Tutu in January 2009, and again in July. He reported that the new generator was cut over in June and is working well, making a huge difference to the centre and surrounding community. The community development aspects of the project are ongoing.
