Mike James of Northcote, Auckland is assisting staff at the Marist Training Centre in Tutu, Taveuni, Fiji with managemnt of a major development project to upgrade their mini hydro generator to 70KVA. Mike visited Tutu in January 2009, and again in July. He reported that the new generator was cut over in June and is working well, making a huge difference to the centre and surrounding community. The community development aspects of the project are ongoing.

Clive Auckram, builder of Takapuna, will assist Don Bosco Technical Institute in building new staff houses, Sep 2010.

Janne Pender and Collene Roche of Auckland have been recruited to assist the Marist Trainign cetnre at Tutu, Taveuni in establishment of governance structures for the assurance of the cetnre's future.

David Lenssen of Whangarei, a builder has been recruited to coordinate a community project to build a house and then eventually a new church at Mokaruka, on the Weather Coast of Guadalcanal. Access by boat and on foot. David will depart June/July 2010 initially for a 3 month assignment.

 Simon Allison, of Wellington, is assisting St Anne's RTC in the Shortland Is, Western Province with completion of their ablution facilities for their new dormitory. He departed April 2010 for a one month assignment. He will also assist in training staff in the use of the laptop and preparation of financial reports.
